LEAGUE REGISTRATION BEGINS JANUARY 16, 2024

 

Player Registration for the developmental league will begin on January 16, 2024. Coaches should email mimi@geyl.org with their requested rosters now and register by clicking the Volunteer button below.  Those requested players will have from January 16 to February 1, 2024 to register to be guaranteed a roster spot.  After February 1, 2024 the team will be open to any player.

Frequently Asked Questions
  • When do games begin?: Games begin the week of Memorial Day. All games are in the evenings during the week (Monday thru Thursday). The end of season tournament begins the 3rd week of July and the championship games are held on July 31.
  • When are practices?: Practices will begin the first of May. Coaches will determine their practice schedule when they pick up the team uniforms and equipment in April.
  • What do I need to provide: Players will receive a shirt and hat. They will need a batting helmet, glove, and bat. You can wait to coordinate pants until you meet with the team. Cleats are optional.
  • How do I request a refund?: Please email mimi@geyl.org to request a refund. There will be a $25 service fee assessed for all refunds (no refund for travel players). No refunds will be issued after games begin.
  • How many games will we play?: Your team will be scheduled for 8 league games as well as at least 2 in the end of season tournament. 5 games are guaranteed. Games cancelled for any reason will not be rescheduled unless a team is in jeopardy of not getting 5 games during the season.
  • How are teams filled?: Coaches may request a roster of players and spots will be held for that request until February 1st. Thereafter teams will be filled by parent request on first come basis.
